Sanctum is a $4.99 one-time purchase on the App Store. No subscription, no trial, no recurring charges. Buy it once, and it’s yours — including future updates on all Apple devices associated with your Apple ID (and shareable with your Family Sharing group where supported).
We chose a simple price for a simple reason: Sanctum is built to run on your iPhone, not to keep you tethered to a billing cycle. A small upfront cost lets us put quality, privacy, and craft ahead of growth-at-any-cost economics.
On-device, by design
Devotionals, prayer journaling, and study notes are saved locally on your iPhone. AI conversation messages are sent to our servers to generate responses, then deleted within 30 days — never used for ads or sold to third parties.
No ads. No tracking. Ever.
There is no advertising SDK, no behavioral profile, no third-party analytics following you around. Paying for the app is the business model.

Content & moderation
Sanctum is designed for respectful, non-judgmental conversation about faith. The app includes content moderation that filters harmful, harassing, sexual, or violent content from both user input and AI responses. Users can report objectionable content directly from any conversation; reports are reviewed within 24 hours and offending content or accounts can be removed.
Sanctum is not a crisis service. If you are in crisis, please contact local emergency services or the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (US). Sanctum surfaces these resources whenever a conversation indicates risk of harm to self or others.
Sanctum does not replace medical, mental-health, legal, or theological advice from a qualified professional or clergy member. Use it as a companion, not as a substitute for human community.
